state of chart-parts?

Hi!

I found chart-parts looking for a mark-based React visualization library. I'd really like to pick up development on it because the fundamentals here are so solid, but I'm wondering why development seems to have suddenly stopped? Like was it some technical limitations, or did Microsoft decide it wasn't worth developing?
