How is DC managed in AppWindow?

How an AppWindow is instantiated creating an AppWindow via WinAPI?
In particular AppWindow presenter, is there a match between OverlappedPresenter and WS_OVERLAPPED?

The lifetime of an AppWindow is the same as for an HWND, meaning that the AppWindow object is available immediately after the window has been created, and is destroyed when the window gets closed.
