Using generated Form Dialogs with Azure LU instead of LUIS?

Is there a way to use the dialogs generated with Composer’s Form Dialog (in preview) with Azure LU services now that LUIS is being retired?
I replaced LUIS with Azure LU/CLU as a custom recognizer and got that working with manually migrated entities and intents. But when executing the generated Form dialog I get ”Object reference not set to an instance of an object.” after the first response in the Form dialog. I can see the trace from the LU looking ok.
