Some interesting facts
boto3-refresh-session
has ~41K downloads 🎉Referring Sites
section of theTraffic
page suggest that people are actively usingboto3-refresh-session
in production 🎉boto3-refresh-session
in production 😮Some reflections on those facts
boto3-refresh-session
has created real utility on the backend for users. Of course, I am elated by that 🎉 The whole point of releasingboto3-refresh-session
after all was to solve an annoying albeit diminutive problem. Namely, refreshing temporary credentials manually.boto3-refresh-session
just works. Practically no one leaves feedback, raises issues, reaches out (usually), or stars the project (usually) presumably because the project just works . . . Why reach out if the project just works?A peculiar dilemma
Because people use this project but do not engage with the project, I lack insight and connection with users. I don't know what sort of features or changes may better serve them, if anything.
Finally, with all of that being said, I would like to ask . . . .
Would you benefit from the addition of a CLI tool to
boto3-refresh-session
? If so, what sort of functionality would you like that tool to have?Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
