this would need broader platform (cross client) alignment - it wouldn't make sense if the Android app was the only one presenting uptime this way.
The current reaction ux follows typical mobile messaging app user experience - no change for reactions needed.
Open to tuning the message ui for smaller screens - but not at the expense of current functionality.
this is also used for QUICK CHAT actions, it may be possible to make this a little less obtrusive - but needs to be able to be accessed quickly as these are QUICK CHAT actions that are expected to be readily available to send a predefined canned/quick message.
this has been on my list but lower priority

We've currently been leveraging the system notification settings - if we make a notification channel per channel/dm that would allow for more granular settings. |
