Example for Using ChartHighlightLayer

I'm looking for annotations on the x-axis. Range Annotation or simple point annotation should also be fine. ChartHighlightLayer maybe the answer to it. However not able to find any example on how to use it. How to position the shape on the axis etc.
Any help ?
