Cast / ChromeCast / Airplay Capability

That is a good idea and I am open to it. Doesn't the plugin you mention support audio? Out of curiosity, what advantages do you see with this plugin over that one?

You are on 1.6.1 :) they are behind on 1.5.1 also I'm just using audio integration - I somehow bumped into the other project a day or two ago.

Gotcha 😀 I haven't run into any issues updating minor versions of the Media3 library so I would assume they would bump it soon too. This plugin was originally created for our own needs and we only open sourced it last year as there was a need for it in the community. Eduardo's plugin didn't exist at the time. We also had the specific need of playing background music at the same time as talk/speech audio. Not sure if their plugin allows that.

I am not sure of the effort for allowing casting. Whether it's just some simple configuration stuff or if it's more involved.
