Play audio from base64 or file.

I need to play audio from base64 or file.

Could I use capacitor-native-audio?

For example:

audioSource: "data:audio/mp3;base64...."

audioSource: File()

I will be happy to get your helping.

The plugin doesn't support base64. I am not sure what you mean by File(). audioSource needs to be a URI or file path. The plugin is primarily to play from a URI so I haven't tested with a file path. But, I am pretty sure it will work, though not 100% sure :)

I get on Web side audio in format base64 from REST API.
I can convert it to Javascript File.

Because I have issues on web side, I want to play it using Capacitor plugin.

But I don't have file path. Idea to play native javascript file or base64.

Do you think I can use URL.createObjectURL(jsFile)?

I am not sure, but you could try it! I've used URL.createObjectURL in my app for images and it creates a URL like blob:http://localhost/a2fc6f43-85d2-4236-b334-5a8417f3486c. Native land needs to understand the URL and be able to resolve it.

Local files definitely work as we use them in our example here. Something like http://localhost/assets/test.mp3.

Worst case, you would have to save out the bytes to an audio file using the @capacitor/filesystem plugin and then use the getUri method to get a URI to pass as the audioSource. This is the "file path" I was referring to and am not sure if it will work or not.
