Scan QR codes on non-flat surfaces

We have QR codes which are on small labels put on cylindrical surfaces similar to this stock photo:

As a result the QR code is warped and I am having trouble scanning it.

The same QR code when placed flat works fine.

Is there some setting which can help with such warped QR codes?
