Import from URL with OpenAI #5307

It seems that importing a recipe from an URL is not using OpenAI by default. Is it supposed to happen? And can I make it use OpenAI every time? My instance seems to be properly configured, the OpenAI "debugger" output looks good.

Currently it's only used as a fallback in case regular scraping fails

Interesting, on what condition scraping is considered failed? I have one example of website which imo is not parsed very well and it would be nice to be able to toggle this functionality.

I think a toggle would be a good addition!

"Failed" in the sense that the parser couldn't get a sufficient amount of data from scraping the metadata

what does the scrapper need to work? because im developing a tool to import social media videos to mealie using whisper and the using chatgpt to convert it to html but most of the time it says its failed but the recipe contains everything, and when it works it doesnt have the ingredients on mealie. for example this one didnt added the ingredients, image and original url, what is wrong in here?

      <li>Mezcla en un bol la harina, azúcar, sal, huevo, leche y levadura. Mezcla todo bien y añade mantequilla empomada poco a poco.</li>
      <li>Trabaja la masa hasta que quede lisa, dale forma redonda y tersa y déjala fermentar a temperatura ambiente durante dos horas.</li>
      <li>Sácale el aire a la masa, estírala y divídala. Si la porcionamos en 100 gramos, la hacemos una bolita y la dejamos fermentar otra hora, la pintamos con huevo, le ponemos semillas de sésamo y las horneamos a 180 grados 15 minutos, obtenemos los mejores y más tiernos panes de burger con todo el sabor y aroma del brioche.</li>
      <li>Si ahora porcionamos la masa en 115 gramos, la estiramos, la enrollamos y la dejamos fermentar en un recipiente hasta que crezcan, la pintamos con huevo y horneamos a 180 grados 15 minutos, quedarán tostados por fuera, blanditos por dentro y con todo el sabor a los panecillos de leche que comíamos de niños.</li>
      <li>Si porcionamos en 40 gramos, la estiramos con un rodillo, la rellenamos y la cerramos como un paquetito, la dejamos fermentar y esta vez la cocinamos en una vaporera sobre agua hirviendo durante unos 7 minutos, obtenemos estos baos que parecen de restaurante, súper tiernos y deliciosos.</li>
      <li>Por último, espolvorea la masa con harina, estírala, córtala en círculos del tamaño que prefieras y hazles un agujero o no. Deja fermentar de nuevo para que crezcan y ya los puedes freír a 180 grados para obtener estos donuts.</li>
      <li>Ahora los puedes glasear con azúcar, con chocolate o incluso glasearlos en azúcar y pintarlos con chocolate.</li>

I think a toggle would be good, I have OpenAI setup and when I import a URL via scraping, it will report "Could not detect instructions" and the same for ingredients. If I use OpenAI debug, it will be able to parse it. A toggle would be good to say, please do this via OpenAI would be good if you know it is going to fail!
