It looks like vizro MCP currently works using stdio. How do we use it as remote server using sse. Also is stdio a good approach to us MCP, should we not be using SSE

You're right — Vizro MCP currently only supports stdio, which works well for local setups. For example, if you're building a Vizro dashboard in your IDE, using the local MCP tools via stdio is pretty straightforward. But if your setup is remote, then using SSE to connect to a remote server definitely makes more sense.

There are a couple of things we still need to tackle before Vizro MCP can fully support SSE:

• Right now, validation relies on a global model manager, which isn't ideal when handling multiple user requests at the same time.
• The way the server handles data also needs some tweaks so it can better support different sources in SSE mode.

Curious to hear more about your setup — are you looking into SSE because your app is already running remotely? Would love to understand your use case better if possible. 😃
