By supporting Dify's API with the Chatbot UI, you can use a low-code developed chatbot through the rich UI of the Chatbot UI.
Dify (Do It For Yourselves) is a low-code LLM (large language model) application development platform for cloud services, offered by LangGenius, Inc., a Delaware-based company with Luyu Zhang as its CEO. It can also be used locally as an Open Source project under the Apache License 2.0. Workflows created on Dify can be accessed externally via Dify's API.
Currently, Dify is becoming a quite popular platform in Japan.
Therefore, I propose registering Dify as an external LLM for the Chatbot UI, positioning it similarly to Anthropic.
The ideal approach would be to study the implementation of the LLM part of the Chatbot UI and submit a Pull Request, but I do not have sufficient development skills.
By integrating Dify's API with the Chatbot UI, users can leverage the rich user interface of the Chatbot UI to interact with and utilize chatbots developed using Dify's low-code platform.
This integration allows for a seamless experience, combining the intuitive chat interface with the powerful capabilities of Dify's LLM platform.
Positioning Dify as an external LLM option, similar to Anthropic, enables the Chatbot UI to tap into the growing popularity and capabilities of Dify in Japan, as well as its open-source availability.
Users can access and execute custom workflows and language models created on Dify directly through the Chatbot UI, expanding its functionality and providing a unified experience for interacting with advanced language models.
While the ideal approach would be to contribute to the Chatbot UI's LLM implementation through a Pull Request, the author acknowledges their lack of sufficient development skills to do so at the moment.
