make factorial code work with a more recent version of pyhsmm

Currently the code only works with the working-factorial branch of pyhsmm, which is a bit old.

Last I checked it was still working with that (now very old) branch on pyhsmm. Did you try running it with that old branch and you ran into some error, or are you just asking about making this code work with newer versions?

I think there's approximately a zero percent chance I will get back to working on this code in the next 3 months, and beyond that it's pretty low as well (but hard to estimate). This stuff was for a specific power disaggregation application that I only worked on for the experiments section of one paper.

IIRC, the only issue was that I reorganized pyhsmm and pybasicbayes and didn't update this code to reflect that reorganization. So in principle the edits should be easy given an understanding of the pyhsmm code organization, but understanding that code organization probably takes some effort. There might be some hints of where to get started in the thread for #3. Let me know if you end up trying to update this stuff.

It works with the old one, just asking about making it work with newer versions. I'm trying out the various models you have in the code and some are only available in the new version it seems, but if I have the new version in my site-packages the factorial one won't work and if I have the factorial version in site-packages it's missing things from the new version. It's not really that big of a deal since I can just switch the folders out but I thought it was worth it to ask if it was something really simple.

I would also like to see the factorial plugin working working with the latest version of pyhsmm. Also, would be great if we could pip install this plugin rather than cloning the repository.

I appreciate the interest but my research work probably won't bring me back to this code. Progress will have to come from pull requests or a fork.
