Hi, I've noticed a "Supported Alternatives" in the README. Do you maybe know anything that would also redirect all sound from a linux machine via google cast? Thanks!

Try mkchromecast (https://mkchromecast.com/). I used it like a year ago and it was buggy, but try it.
