Thanks for the report. Do you see this error in the frontend, or somewhere else? I do not get this error on my test server:

I have found the cause. The error only occurs when we use the legacy tags (joomplucat).

Thanks again for the report and the update. This is unexpected, because as far as I can see, the code for both the new and the legacy tags is identical.

I looked a bit more into the code and I think that the error comes from this call:
$params = $catView->get('Params');
which gets the configuration from JoomGallery. The code in JoomGallery that produces the error is in the following file: administrator/com_joomgallery/src/Service/Config/DefaultConfig.php
where the code (all code is in the init function) gets difference sets of configuration parameters. There are different points where this code can produce the error message. If you still have the error, could you try to insert additional printouts to see in which of the branches it fails?

The error persists even after your last commit. My attempts to narrow down the error have so far failed.

Which version of Joomla and Joomgallery are you using? I am using Joomla 5.3.1 and JoomGallery 4.0.1 ...

I use the same versions on a multilingual site. I must have made a mistake with the legacy tags. It does occur with both.
