Camera module as ip camera?

Very useful information for the drone collected on this page! I have learned a lot of new stuffs and ideas. Do you have any idea is it possible the camera/wifi module to be used separately as ip camera? I mean without the need of the android app?

Sorry, I don't know the format of the video stream - guess it is possible, but you will need knowledge about the protocol.

I have found interesting thread in reddit that they said it is H264. You can check it here - https://www.reddit.com/r/HowToHack/comments/4512il/how_to_hack_ip_camera_in_toy_drone/.
But still they wrote that they can get only frames and not video stream.
