Use tag/commit as version automatically

Solution

We must use the commit hash or the tag when someone installs from git and does not specify a custom version.

Yep and just get the commit hash as a version or the tag.

That might require a lot of refactoring, would there be a better way? Seems like the problem comes from foundry not being able to parse the config file and having bad error messages. I suggested that they make their parsing more lenient (maybe avoid deserializing the soldeer config items altogether) and leave the validation to soldeer.

That issue is just related but the reason for this issue is to solve the following ambiguity:
When you install from git using a tag/commit, why would you need to define a version? Most of these versions might also be rubbish, like if i want to install from commit 09b6cx i would just probably say v1 as a placeholder. So we should populate the version automatically with tag/commit

What do we do if the user specifies no rev/commit or branch name? This means "whatever git does by default when cloning" but it's painful to retrieve the name of the branch with git prior to cloning (there are some proposed ways but nothing standard and foolproof).
