HTML with JS inside marimo

I would like to have an interface for uploading files/folders that would work the same in marimo app/notebook or a standalone HTML.
I do not want a WASM notebook.

The HTML piece here works as intended as a separate file but does not work at all in the notebook.

Any advice? Is it related to the specific drag-and-drop UI? Generally, would you expect that complete HTML/JS snippets would work inside notebooks?
