bulk rename bug?

I tried this fork today, nice that fff have more love, because the main one, is abandoned (Last release: Sep 22, 2020).

With fff, I can do bulk rename, but not with this fork, maybe I don't understand the way is done (changes from main).

Other things that I missed:

• How can I mark, more than one file with Space? If I do mark with Space, then I go to another file and previous lose the mark, I'm used to nnn way.
• Mark and advance to the next file?
• I did use xsel and not xclip, maybe I can just install xclip.
• Maybe is possible to use from nnn, plugins like: nuke, preview-tui, imgview; as a terminal opener, thery are written in bash, and use packages available in most distros, including alternatives.
