As you may have noticed, cold02 and biostore are currently inaccessible. We had to unmount both of them from Marbits, which means that you cannot copy, write, or read data stored there.

The connection with cold02 was not stable since the big blackout. We do not know exactly what is causing this issue, but we are applying the scientific method (🧑‍🔬 💻 ) to try to determine its cause. For this reason, we had to unmount it. We still do not know when they will be back online, but do not expect it before the reorganization of space and quotas in /mnt/smart is finished.

If you need data that's stored in cold02 or biostore, and it is URGENT (adjective, requiring immediate action or attention.), you can contact with us or the people at Servei de Computació Científica (e-mail: smart@icm.csic.es), so we can come up with a solution.
