No, unfortunately, this library requires Native SDKs. Use ReactNative Platform to conditionally switch between maplibre-react-native and maplibre-gl-js in the component.

Could the feature be considered? It woud be very nice to expose one API/component set allowing developers to use maplibre on android, iOS, and Web.

I'm currently trying to do exactly this, but when building for web I still get the error:

I don't think guarding behind if(Platform.OS !== 'web') is enough. You can't have any import ... from "@maplibre/maplibre-react-native"; in a file, which will be interpreted by the browser. So you will need separate .web.ts files, which wouldn't have such import.
