We're excited to introduce the MakerForge.tech Modular Biped project, a platform designed for modular development and experimentation in robotics using Python and C++ with the Raspberry Pi and Arduino. Whether you're a robotics enthusiast, a developer, or just curious about the project, this is the perfect place to ask questions and engage in discussions.

Project Overview:
The Companion Robot project provides a framework for robotics development with various features and functionalities. Here's a brief overview:

Facial Detection and Tracking: Utilizing the Raspberry Pi AI camera for facial detection and tracking.
Servo Control: Controlling up to 9 servos through an Arduino serial connection.
Battery Monitor: Monitoring the battery status through an external connection and software integration via the Arduino serial connection.
Auto Shutdown: Enabling automatic shutdown by adding the startup command to the Pi's boot file. Additionally, GPIO 26 is wired to allow shutdown via a switch.
Buzzer: An integrated buzzer on GPIO 27 for playing tones when there is no audio output.
Motion Sensor: Equipped with an RCWL-0516 microwave radar sensor on GPIO 13.
Stereo MEMS Mics: Supporting stereo MEMS microphones as audio input through GPIO 18, 19, and 20.
Speech Recognition: Enabling speech recognition whenever a face is visible, with additional configuration for MEMS microphones.
Serial Communication with Arduino: Establishing serial communication between the Raspberry Pi and Arduino.
Neopixel: Supporting WS1820B via Pi GPIO pin 12. Please note that audio on the Pi needs to be disabled for this functionality.
