Adding devices by yourself

Hi, I created successluly yaml file for my water heater, is simple swiitch and temperature. File seams to be OK integration still working well. When I'm trying to add no my device on the list in last step. I see several devices vacuum, transmiter, simple switch... My heater is not available even add product id in file. My Tuya Local knowladge is poor something missed?

yes, it's really frustrating. It should be encouraged to create new devices, instead it's a pure nightmare.
Just to give an example: the readme in the devices folder describes a structure that not only is different from what is used by devices' files, but also is not accepter by the integration. Don't believe this? i'm getting a ton of errors about "primary_entity" that is neither quoted in the readme. And if you try to use an existing device as an example, you easily end up with the integration using your yaml file and showing an entry with no devices and entities. With no speaking log.
Really, isn't there some sort of guide to create new devices?

Please be specific about what in the devices README is not working.

The only thing you mention is primary_entity giving errors, but that is not mentioned in README.

and this is exactly the point. It is neither quoted in the README. I did a yaml with no primary_entity and got an error about primary_entity. Is this normal? Why primary_entity and secondary_entities are not quoted at all in the readme if a big part (i don't want to say all because i did not open them all) of the devices' yaml files are structured with primary_entity and secondary_entities?

None of the yaml files in the repository contain primary_entity or secondary_entities.

In this case the documentation is correct, and the error message is misleading due to a backward compatible fallback being the last thing that failed. The real issue is that you didn't define an entities list.

I gave up and use local tuya for my water heater, anyway now I am looking support for LCS Party Girland RGB with 15 programable bulbs...
