Tera EV Charger - data not updating without app open

I have a plug in EV charger from Tera that is connected up and working with Tuya Local. However, the values (eg Voltage, Power & Current) only update whilst the SMart Home app is open, in this case the values updated every 5-10 seconds or so. With the app closed the values simply don't update, I've tried various combinations of Polling but can't seem to find a setting that allows the values to update with he app closed.

Any suggestions?
