## Motivation In order for the Lunes Blockchain to continue to meet market demands related to security and scalability, we need a solid foundation. The idea is to identify the Lunes Node Core Engine and decouple it from everything else. All current features will be modularly redeployed as node extensions that can be plugged into the Core Engine.
