Unreachable Friends Cause Hanging

When loading the timeline, if a Friend doesn't respond quickly, they should be skipped.

Bonus mission: load timelines through AJAX as with the content list for the content selection form. This would be much nicer and more dynamic. Also contents could be loaded in the same way, with each large content having a loading bar or something similar.

So although moving from httplib to httplib2 allowed caching, it was most certainly a bad decision.

I think it would be best at this point to use Requests.
