square-scissors icons are too large

Hi there!

When browsing for icons I came across square-scissors and square-bottom-dashed-scissors.
They looked a bit off to me: apparently they have canvas padding of 1px while most squared icons in Lucide use 2px.

This makes them look weird next to other squared icons and also violates the design guidelines regarding optical volume.

Here they are next to some similar squares:

You’re right, and I agree. In the past, there were unfortunately some cases where icons that weren’t fully aligned with the guidelines slipped through due to a bit of leniency during review. 👀

I’m leaning towards removing these icons in v1.0, as they’re essentially impossible to adapt properly to the guidelines.

Thanks for the rapid answer! I tried to adapt them to px2 padding. It looks fine but the circles look a bit off because they get too close. Maybe we make them smaller and salvage those two 😄

The gaps inside the circles are insufficient, so we basically have to choose the lesser of two evils.

I think I personally prefer yours to the current version, but I guess everything depends on what we do with #3547 🤔

That's fair. I also went ahead and patched the dashed version:

I'll open a PR for those two and mention #3547 to block it until it's resolved.
