Feature request: notifications (SMTP / other) when errors occur

Feature request here; it'd be great to be able to configure some sort of notifications for when errors occur. Either via SMTP, Discord, some other common mechanism. Thanks!

Agree on this! There is already #16, I'm not 100% sure what to implement here, there are a lot of alternatives :)

Ah nice, I have added some thoughts on #16. It can get a little complicated depending on how many platforms support desired for. Definitely a lot of options out there and wouldn't want too much burden on the team.

pushover would be nice to have for notifications. I already have a couple other apps/services that utilize pushover for notifications.
