I too have the same question, with settings almost identical to yours I was expecting the local DNS records to sync but they don't |

Mine sync with the same settings. I spent a bit double checking, and the exclude works if you put

So I have a sort of similar query, but this may unfortunately be a "feature" of pihole v6 that was different in pihole v5. Namely I have piholes running in two different locations for my home and a weekend home. With a VPN running between both, I like to have all my local DNS records in sync, but I don't want the main DNS records sync'd up. Since in particular I use different upstream servers for DNS in both locations. With orbital sync and pihole 5 this was fine, I only sync'd local, not the upstream DNS entries. But looks like both local and upstream servers are sync'd up with Nebula-Sync. And I admit I don't see a separate line item in Teleporter. Any thoughts here how to separate out so I don't modify the upstream DNS entries? |

With selective sync, is there something specific needed for local dns records to sync to replicas?
