Any particular reason to use oneOf naming for the validator and not some, which would be aligned with the language (Array#some that is actually used in the implemtation)?

oneOf is clearer, since the Array#some accepts a predicate and not a direct value to match with. A better alternative would be includes but too late to change to any of that now since that would be a breaking change.
