Handling form value

I was asking myself, where is are the values administered best? Do I use values everywhere or do I use modelValue of each form field?

Personally, I never use v-model and just handle the submissions via the passed values in the submission handler. What are you trying to do?

Ok, here is the thing, I have a component where the form setup and I have some general components like select that are filled with options that might or might not have a preselection going on at the start. Also I have some dependencies between fields like, one needs to be disabled if another one is filled or date fields where the date should not be in the future and not before another datefield and such.
So currently I forward the values to the fields via v-model but it seems that this is not necessary if there is a useField on the component right?
So all useFields kinda subscribe to the useForm on somewhere up the tree as far as I understand it?!

My goal is not to juggle values and modelValues around and maybe have interfering operations on one of them and also lower complexity of where is the value actually set and what is affected by it.
