How I can use data variable with v-validate regex

Here is my code

    my_regex: '(?=.*[a-z])(?=.*[A-Z])(?=.*[0-9])(?=.*[.:><{}\[\]()!@#\$%\^&\*])'
  }

<input v-model="password" type="password" placeholder="Password" name="password" v-validate='{ required: true, regex: /(?=.*[a-z])(?=.*[A-Z])(?=.*[0-9])(?=.*[.:><{}\[\]()!@#\$%\^&\*])/, min: 8 }' />

Now I had tried the following but that is not worked

<input v-model="password" type="password" placeholder="Password" name="password" v-validate='{ required: true, regex: /my_regex/, min: 8 }' />

Would you please somebody help me
