Open Router as Embedding Model

I will preface this with the fact that I am not a coder and fairly new to AI. I have search for days trying to solve this on my own but have had no success.

I have credit with Open Router and was under the impression it could be used for all features here. I have been able to successfully add Deepseek as a chat model via Open Router, but it is missing as an option under Provider for the embedding model. Since Open Router can provide access to all the other models I would have expected to see it there. I have tried using both OpenAI and OpenAI Format with the Open Router Base URL and Model Name but that has not worked either. Can anybody point me in the right direction here? Or tell me that this isn't possible so I can move on?

deepseek chat v3 is a chat model, not an embedding model. You should use "Add Custom Model" under Chat Models
