How to get Obsidian Copilot to search recently updated notes

Hello, how can I get Copilot to recognize recently updated notes? I'd like to ask "show me action items from my notes this week"? I format my notes as YYYY-MM-DD but I'm hoping Copilot can recognize note creation and modification dates.
