Organisers' guide to accepting talks #4
Description
It would be good to have some clear criteria around accepting talks, and the details that should be covered off with speakers when agreeing to a talk.
Some things that can be included:
- confirming the length of the talk
- confirming the adherence to Code of Conduct
- helping shape the talk so that it's relevant
- helping review slides/talk contents so it's the best possible from the speaker
- getting more than one organiser to agree a talk is accepted
- maintaining a healthy diversity balance in the talks
