Project update (draft)

A few updates:

• @iinuwa and I will be joining forces to bring modern credentials to the Linux desktop. We will begin with FIDO2 public key credentials, ie. Passkeys.
• @iinuwa is leading the work on the portal API definition and implementation, as part of linux-webauthn-platform-api.
• This project will narrow its focus on providing WebAuthn and CTAP APIs, and Linux transport implementations, to support a platform authenticator akin to Windows Hello. It will be renamed accordingly.
• We will move both repos under the same GitHub org. This will make it easier to add collaborators and accept contributions.

  • Add functionality: PIN Management (from Fix #15: Add SetPIN and ChangePIN #48)
  • Add functionality: Authenticator Config (from Implement AuthenticatorConfig #55)
