Flag Missing HTML Tags

Conditions (all must be true):

• Creates an HTML file
• The file lacks a canonical tag
• The file lacks a Robot meta tag

Automation Actions:

• Add a label that says “missing crucial tag”
• Post a comment asking the user to add crucial tags, canonical and robot.

Flag Duplicate H1

Conditions (all must be true):

• Creates or modifies an HTML file.
• Creates more than one H1 headings.

Automation Actions:

• Post a comment requesting the author to create only one H1 for the main heading.
  • Creating one H1 Heading creates a meaningful structure and makes it easy for indexing search engines.

Enforce HTML Title Length Requirements

Conditions(all must be true):

• Creates or modifies an HTML file.
• Creates a title that has less than 30 characters or exceeds 60 characters.

Automation Actions:

• Request change and aske the author to update the PR to follow recommended HTML title lengths.
  • An optimum title contains characters between 30 and 60 characters.

Enforce Image Alt Attributes

Conditions (all must be true):

• Creates or modifies an HTML file.
• Adds an image without writing an alt attribute.

Automation Actions:

• Add a “missing alt attribute” label
• Request changes and post a comment asking the author to add alt attributes to images.
