Group or categorice Seats to restrict bookings

Hi,

would it be possible to group or categorize seats and limit seats to book to avoid over- or doublbookings?

I'd like to have:

seat1 to seat4 in a group/category and the attandant should be limited to book only one of this seats and not one of every seat.

Same with a group from seat5 to seat15 and a group from seat16 to seat36, where only one seat should be possible for attendant.

But it shoul also be required, that attendant books 1 seat from every group, in total 3 seats.

I know, it's a little bit special, but would it be possible? And "nice to have" would be a dropdown to select the only one seat to book from each group.

This would be a huge task to put into admin/generic checks etc ...
But, the good news is: you can do it using eme_eval_booking_form_post_filter , see https://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/hooks-and-filters/ ==> make sure to do a print_r of $_POST the first time so you see what is being passed along. Then it's just some if-statements and you're good to go.
