Changing notation language

Hey,

i would like to change the notation based on selected language.
If no translation is found for the given notation, english will be set as default.

Unfortunately i cant find anything regarding notations...seems like it is getting generated.

I would have expected the notations to be encapsulated.

Any ideas where to start here?

Notation isn't particularly encapsulated. Though tbh I'm not sure whether translating it is really a good idea even from a conceptual standpoint. I think it's generally better to get used to the "English" notation to allow for universal understanding and communication of chess moves.

yeah I'm totally with you.
People have come to me who said that chess books have a different notation than lichess and struggle a little.
(German speaking children)

I would have liked it if younger people could get a taste of analysis and notation as early as possible.
