There is about 30 repositories that have some sort of Ledger implementation. Is it worth contacting some of the devs?

Sure. Potentially even making a top level org that's not in any one developer's space.

oh, yes, that was my thinking after I posted to r/rust channel. It may be useful to have a more permanent URL for the project. I'd hope to get it into ledger itself but not sure if that's feasible.
