Project name

This is still a very early brainstorming phase but based on the number of interested parties, it may soon gain traction so it might be valid to raise these questions already.

The current location and the name are just placeholders in order to have the forum for pooling people together and sharing information.

ledger-rs is taken, as well as several other similar ones. That does not mean much as the name does not matter until the product is adopted, at which point the name will be accepted. I use l as the alias for ledger, anyway.

That said, what would be the most-appropriate name for the project and/or the executable?

This will tie into the project location.

Once there are enough proposals, we can open the polls.

Unfortunately ledger is already taken at crates.io and we would run into package name conflicts if we use ledger. rledger is pretty cool but would not show up in tab completion if someone is use to typing part of ledger and then hitting tab. Obviously alias usage will work to fix this.

ledger-rs does fit some of the slightly awkward naming conventions that I am seeing pop up in the rust community but I don't think I am in 100% favor of this.

rledger gets my vote.
