The minor memory leak occurs when the Blum-Blum-Shub pseudo-random number is seeded. Reseeding does not cause the leak to grow, so the leak is a small fixed amount that remains constant if the Blum-Blum-Shub pseudo-random number generator is used. We plan to rewrite the way that zrandom.c works, but we didn't want to do this before a stable release. So this will be addressed, along with documentation updates as per issue #133 in the 2.15.0.3 release. None of these are critical, thus we pushed out this release today. |
