How to add PPA Repos like audiobookshelf?

I would also like to be able to include special cases such as the repo of audiobookshelf.
However, this does not seem to be possible at present, or perhaps I am overlooking something.
I have found the following improvement request, but I am not sure whether it would be sufficient to cover this case: #294

This repository does not follow the standard deb repos structure so it is not possible to mirror it using repomanager unfortunately.

And yes this is the same case as #294
