Doubts regardimg Stl file during evaluation

Will the octomap server be run from your side during evaluation or we have to run it ourselves?
Also can we directly use the stl file during evaluation?(would need the directory structure of the evaluation bench for it or at least the path to the stl file)

We will run the octomap server. We did not plan to work with stl for that part, but we can try to enable it somehow. Would an environment variable pointing to the location of the stl be sufficient?

Hi, I am having trouble with running octomap_server for the provided city_1 map. Is there a way to get a octomap_server compatible format from the provided .stl file?

Octomap server can only load .bt or .ot (binary tree or octtree file). We have provided a bt file for the city_1 world, converted from the original stl via the procedure outlined in the Readme (see section working with octomaps)
