1. Will the base station location and initial drone positions be provided at runtime, or can we receive them in advance as we did during the simulation stage?
2. Approximately how long does it take for a drone to discharge from a full battery to the critical level at which it must return for recharging?

Few more questions:

1. Can we hard-code the dimensions as mentioned in the mail? or, would they change on different testcases? Also, could you let us know if the dimensions are strict bounds (what happens if the drone is at boundary) and, the base is inside the dimensions mentioned?
2. Initial positions mentioned in the crazyflies_icuas.yaml are negative, could you let us know if this is outside the dimensions you have defined (i.e. with an offset)?

We will provide base and initial drone positions once we calibrate the Optitrack setup. We will provide them in advance.

It takes about 4 to 5 minutes to completely drain the battery of the Crazyflie. So around 4 minutes before going back sounds like a good estimate atm.

The arena size will be also defined by the Optitrack coverage, we will provide this once we set it up, and it will also be fixed. The initial positions file in the repo is just a placeholder.

Would it be also possible for us to know the penalty/scoring function that will be used wrt to the constraints as mentioned earlier?
