Problem with crashing drones - gz physics

During the flight, at some point in the terminal where the command below was launched in Tmux, Gazebo crashes. The problem occurs regularly after a similar amount of time following the launch of ./start.sh.

The specifications of our computer are listed below. When the crash happens, the drones immediately fall to the ground in different directions, but the Gazebo application remains visible.

could you give more information, what were the poses of drones when it crashed? What map did you use?

Hi, I am having the same problem as well. For several times it happened at about x: 23.ish and y: 30.ish

just a heads up, #6 has some instructions to increase RTF a bit. Both @marijana23 and me are running things on Lenovo Legion 7 (Intel i9-14900HX, 32GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070). Our evaluation machine is running on Intel i9-12900, 128GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090

We encountered the same situation

The UAV suddenly got stuck during normal flight. I confirmed that all nodes were killed before starting, and the UAV did not exceed (-100, 100). What is the reason?

Can you paste the whole output from the gazebo terminal? Does this always happen? Are you running Ubuntu natively or via WSL? Are you running hardware-accelerated rendering and if yes did you try software rendering? This looks like Gazebo collision detection freaking out.
