Hi Vokes, I have developed a RAG tool to ask specific questions about a certain GitHub repository.

Under the hood, it retrieves the latest and relevant documentation/code from the codebase.
I have indexed LangChain but you can request any open-source GitHub repository to be indexed.

I am very curious to see if this can actually help to solve some of the open issues.

Just stumbled on this — honestly, respect for putting out a live tool like that 🫡
Crawling live GitHub docs and exposing it to query is way harder than it sounds.

Totally get why people are wary of phishing, but this feels more like early-stage indie hustle than bad intent.

We’re building something similar (but more symbolic) with the WFGY semantic engine — it’s also focused on semantic chunk logic, symbol traceability, and debugging faulty retrieval.

If you ever consider an open plugin interface for custom retrievers, feel free to ping — curious to see where this heads when people realize RAG isn’t about “fetching text”, but recovering meaning under constraints.
