I’m using the LangChain Python library in my company, and due to our privacy policy, I need to clarify how data is handled. I understand that LangChain transmits data to external LLMs as part of normal usage, but I want to know if it sends any data elsewhere (e.g., to LangChain’s own servers or third-party services).
I found the LangChain privacy policy, but it appears to focus on LangSmith and LangGraph. However, I’m specifically asking about the core LangChain Python library when used on its own.
Can someone from the LangChain team or the community confirm whether any telemetry, logging, or other data collection happens outside of the expected LLM interactions?
