This is helpful, but it depends on an Azure service. It would be more useful to have an open-source alternative for dealing with MS Office data as you might not be able to use Azure depending on the use case.

Unstructured has docx capabilities and there is even a langchain_community.document_loaders.UnstructuredWordDocumentLoader function... not sure why it isn't mentioned here.
