Yes. But there is a slight issue with the code provided.

os.environ["GOOGLE_API_KEY"] = getpass("Provide your Google API key here")

results in:

TypeError: 'module' object is not callable

Correct Code:

os.environ["GOOGLE_API_KEY"] = getpass.getpass("Provide your Google API key here")

The getpass.getpass() function should be used instead of calling getpass directly.

When will google's text-embedding-005 be available.

NotFound: 404 models/text-embedding-005 is not found for API version v1beta, or is not supported for embedContent. Call ListModels to see the list of available models and their supported methods.
